Rx. Adenophorae Nan Sha Shen 30g Nourishes Yin, moistens the Lungs, dispels Phlegm and stops coughing.
Rx. Asparagi Tian Men Dong 15g Nourishes Kidney Yin, clears Lung Heat, sedates Fire, moistens the Lungs, nourishes the Kidneys, generates fluids, resolves Phlegm and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 15g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin and stops coughing.
With Tian Men Dong, for Lung and Kidney Yin Deficiency with consumptive coughing and occasional hemoptysis.
With Nan Sha Shen, for a dry cough with little Phlegm and a parched throat due to Lung Dryness or Heat injuring the Lung Yin.
Rx. Stemonae Preparata Zhi Bai Bu 15g Moistens the Lungs and stops coughing.
With Nan Sha Shen, for coughing due to Lung Heat injuring the Qi and fluids or Lung consumption.
Hb. Houttuyniae Yu Xing Cao 15g Clears Heat, relieves toxicity, reduces swellings and abscesses, expels pus and inhibits the growth of cancer cells (acts especially on the Lungs).
Fr. Trichosanthis Gua Lou 15g Clears Lung Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm, regulates Qi, unbinds the chest, reduces abscesses, dissipates nodules and eliminates pus.
With Yu Xing Cao, for pulmonary abscess with purulent hemoptysis.
